CEE-Swiss Impulse Session

Global Economic and Financial Outlook

Navigating cyclical and strutural challenges in a world at a crossroad

We heartily invite you to join our webinar with Dr. Martin Weder

Chief Economist and Head of Economic Research at Zürcher Kantonalbank

About the Webinar

The coronavirus pandemic and the Russian invasion of the Ukraine have both caused major economic distortions around the globe. While businesses and households are still dealing with the lagged effects of the most pronounced price and interest rate increases in the past 40 years, many structural challenges such as unfavorable demographic developments, the energy transition, geopolitical tensions and the fracturing of the global economy remain unresolved. In all of this, CEE countries are particularly affected. During this session, Martin Weder will present a global economic outlook and discuss opportunities and risks for businesses and investors in these challenging times.
