On 11 November 2025, the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland–Central Europe (SEC), together with the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia and with the support of the Embassy of Switzerland in North Macedonia, successfully organized the event “Connecting Switzerland & North Macedonia: Business Growth & Partnerships” 

The event served as a dynamic platform to discuss doing business in both countries, including the legal aspects and trade agreements between Switzerland and North Macedonia. It also featured an engaging panel discussion that highlighted concrete opportunities for collaboration between Swiss and Macedonian companies, ranging from co-production and supply chain integration to IT and R&D partnerships. The speakers also addressed how to navigate cultural and operational differences, shared their outlook on the future of Swiss–Macedonian business relations amid global developments and offered practical advice for Macedonian companies looking to enter the Swiss market.

In the evening, H.E. Christoph Sommer, Ambassador of Switzerland in North Macedonia, graciously hosted a reception at the Swiss Residence, where the Swiss company delegation, CEOs of Swiss companies operating in North Macedonia and CEOs of successful Macedonian companies connected in a warm and engaging networking atmosphere. The reception fostered meaningful dialogue, strengthened relationships and encouraged future partnerships between the Swiss and Macedonian business communities.
