CEE Ambassadors SEC Get-Together

Recap of Our Latest Event

The Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Central Europe (SEC) had the pleasure of hosting the fourth edition of its high-level networking event, “CEE Ambassadors Meet SEC Board Members,” at the Polish Residence in Bern. The event brought together Central and Eastern European Ambassadors and Chef de Mission, senior economic experts from SECO and EDA, SEC Board Members, Country Representatives, and selected partners.

The evening served as a prime example of the SEC’s mission: fostering purposeful connections to promote meaningful collaboration. In the context of current geopolitical uncertainty, the importance of platforms for dialogue and strategic engagement has never been greater. This exclusive, high-level networking format underscored its value through substance-driven discussions, not formality.

The focus of the evening remained clear: strengthening relationships between Switzerland and the 17 countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The aim is to advance cooperation in business and trade, science and education, and broader societal initiatives. Several new project ideas and potential partnerships emerged during the evening, highlighting what can be achieved through focused and collaborative exchange.

SEC extends its sincere thanks to the Polish Embassy for its hospitality, and to all participants for their insights and commitment. The event would not have been possible without the support of our key partners: JTI, AMEOS Gruppe, Pictet Group, OBT AG, and our newest supporter, UBS. We invite all individuals and organizations aligned with our mission to engage with the Chamber and take part in building a stronger, more connected Europe through Switzerland–CEE cooperation.
