About Dr. Andreas Herrmann

Professor Dr. Andreas Herrmann is one of Europe’s leading experts in mobility, marketing, and innovation. He is the Director of the Institute for Mobility at the University of St. Gallen, where he also leads the Center for Customer Insight and the Global School of Empirical Research Methods. His research focuses on the future of transportation, autonomous driving, and smart mobility. With over 250 academic publications and 17 books, Professor Herrmann has collaborated with leading global companies such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, and Deutsche Bahn. He also serves on advisory boards and consults for firms in the automotive, finance, and technology sectors. He has held visiting positions at top institutions including MIT, Columbia University, LSE City, and the University of Michigan. His most recent books include Autonomous Driving and Inventing Mobility for All.
